Krystal Couture’s Workshop

Build your confidence in addressing pelvic health concerns in clinical practice. This three-module, hands-on workshop combines biomedical assessment, current research, TCM pattern differentiation, and practical acupuncture techniques across sexual health, pelvic pain, and urologic conditions. You’ll learn to recognize important clinical presentations and referral red flags, understand where the evidence supports acupuncture, and gain hands-on experience with techniques you can apply in practice—including electroacupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, bone pecking, and PTNS.

Module 1 (2 Hours)

Sexual Function: Dyspareunia, Vaginismus, and Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause

This module presents an evidence based acupuncture approach to three of the most underdiagnosed and undertreated conditions in pelvic health, dyspareunia, vaginismus, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Attendees will review biomedical presentation, differential diagnosis, and current research on acupuncture as an adjunct to standard care, then bridge into TCM pattern differentiation for each condition. A live demonstration of point location and needling technique will be followed by structured small group practice, giving attendees direct experience with palpation, point location and bone pecking techniques.

Module 2 (2 Hours)

Pelvic Pain Conditions: Dysmenorrhea and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome

This module addresses the most common pain presentations acupuncturists encounter in pelvic health practice, primary dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Attendees will learn TCM views on dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain as well as research for acupuncture and these conditions. Attendees will review TCM pattern differentiation for both conditions, then receive a live demonstration of electroacupuncture technique for CPPS and dysmenorrhea and abdominal acupuncture, followed by small group hands on practice.

Module 3 (2 Hours)

Urologic Presentations: Overactive Bladder, Interstitial Cystitis, and Recurrent UTI

This module covers the three most common urologic presentations in pelvic health acupuncture practice, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, and recurrent urinary tract infection. Attendees will review current research on acupuncture and posterior tibial nerve stimulation for OAB, TCM pattern differentiation across all three conditions, and referral criteria specific to urologic red flags. A live demonstration of PTNS setup, including estim, will be followed by supervised small group practice.

David Lesondak’s Workshop

Develop a deeper understanding of fascia and its role in posture, movement, sensation, and whole-body biomechanics. This hands-on workshop will introduce key concepts including biotensegrity, mechanotransduction, fascial densification, and regeneration, then translate these principles into practical assessment and treatment. Through guided demonstrations and partner practice, you’ll learn to assess fascial patterns and apply myofascial techniques to key areas throughout the body—from the lower leg and pelvis to the shoulders, chest, neck, and suboccipital region.

Smart Phone, Dumb Posture: Solving Chronic Pain in the Digital Age

This six-hour, hands-on workshop explores fascia as the body’s dynamic, collagen-based connective tissue system and examines its role in force transmission, posture, movement, sensation, and tissue adaptation. Participants will be introduced to foundational concepts including biotensegrity, mechanotransduction, fascial densification, and fascial regeneration, with discussion of how these concepts inform assessment and myofascial treatment.

The workshop then moves from theory into practice, beginning with postural assessment and guided exploration of fascial techniques and handholds. Participants will work with partners to develop practical assessment skills and apply techniques to the tibialis, iliac crest, obliques, quadratus lumborum, upper lateral line, serratus, latissimus, pectoralis minor, subclavius, and scapular region. The final portion focuses on the sternocleidomastoid, scalenes, and suboccipital group, with opportunities for questions and discussion throughout.

Combining current fascia concepts with extensive hands-on practice, this workshop is designed to help practitioners connect the underlying science of fascial adaptation with practical assessment and treatment techniques they can incorporate into clinical practice.

Philipp Weider’s Workshop

Take your clinical laser skills beyond the basics with a full day of hands-on learning focused on practical application, treatment strategy, and clinical precision. Explore classical laser acupuncture, frequency-based treatments, advanced auriculomedicine, and innovative point sequencing while learning how to select points, frequencies, and treatment approaches for different clinical objectives. With live demonstrations, supervised practice, individual coaching, and the opportunity to work with your own laser, you’ll gain practical experience you can take directly into your clinic.

Mastering Clinical Laser Therapy: A Full-Day Hands-On Workshop

Whether you’ve recently invested in a therapeutic laser or have years of clinical experience, this immersive workshop is designed to help you gain greater confidence, improve treatment outcomes, and maximize the potential of your laser system.

Spend an entire day working alongside Philipp Weider, Instructor for the Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence in Laser Acupuncture, in an intensive hands-on learning environment. Participants are encouraged to bring their own handheld Class III or Class IV therapeutic laser and receive practical instruction using their own equipment.

The workshop combines foundational science with advanced clinical applications through live demonstrations, supervised practical sessions, and partner treatments.

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own handheld laser system. Philipp’s extensive experience with a wide range of therapeutic laser technologies allows him to provide individualized guidance regardless of the manufacturer or model.
